I’ve been saying that, and revelation is clear. I think a lot of Catholics will leave and become Christian then, but it’s a sore topic for a lot of people.

If you read the article, it appears that he is trying to be all things to all people, condemning terrorism on the one hand but on the other saying the mooselimb leaders ought to renounce terror and that it’s wrong to equate islam with terror.
He is speaking nonsense and would be well advised to either send an army to slaughter these animals like his predeccessors did or shut the hell up.

If you are the leader of a religion - ANY religion - isn’t your only responsibility to that which you believe, and your only real concern with any other religion seeking conversion?

I will presume that the Pope is just trying to be the consummate politician, and thinking that you will catch more flies with honey, rather than trying to bash them with a 2x4.
Nonetheless, obfuscating the Truth helps no one. Not those being persecuted by the evil and violent religion of islam, nor the muslims themselves. It would not hurt to state the facts: Islam bares no resemblance to a God inspired religion, however it bares signs of having been inspired by Satan: their prophet admits that he was once fooled by Satan because he was wrong 'once' (and the real Bible tells us never to believe a prophet who delivers a false prophecy); it encourages its believers to kill; it has a 1400 year history and legacy of leaving death, mayhem, and destruction in its wake. Given that Satan hates people -- I'd say that Islam IS Satan's religion. Prayers to the people afflicted by it, and prayers for those that have been duped, or cowed, into falling it.
1,400 years of history contradicts that.
