Taxes for police protection should be in proportion to police service consumed. I pay a water bill - but I'm NOT forced to ‘average’ my water bill with someone on the other side of town who leaves his hose running 24/7 because he's too lazy to walk to the side of the house and turn it off.
Let's be fair here.
Same with paying for policing. Charge for police protection by the city block. Have the amount added to a cell phone, cable, or electric bill.
If the black community wants to have police take the place of absent ‘fathers they can PAY FOR THAT privilege themselves.
Maybe Farrakhan can chip in some of his millions to the 'cause' of black people being responsible for their own choices.
Me, I'm sick of 90% of my police taxes being spent in the 'black community'. Everyone who's NOT black is being forced to buy security systems for their homes, form 'watch groups; and deal with higher insurance rates BECAUSE police GIVE their resources and time to blacks who don't appreciate them anyhow. Pull the cops OUT of those neighborhoods OR charge blacks for their overuse of the police protection.
