A march for racial justice Friday night turned ugly as hundreds of protesters converged on Union Square and frightened crowds of shoppers by smashing windows and attacking police.

Shopkeepers lowered metal gates to protect their entries while shoppers with children dashed inside the giant Macy’s store and cowered behind locked doors. Some protesters broke shop windows and screamed at police, while others threw objects including bottles at officers.

Several families ran from the protest area while hundreds crowded behind police lines at Union Square’s ice rink. An activist spray painted “F T P” (F—The Police) on an Apple Store, watched by dozens of wide-eyed shoppers huddled inside.

They’re honoring St. Skittles and St. Swisher Sweets.

Liberals know how to make themselves loved... even in liberal San Francisco.

Dog bites man. Are there ever any protest marches in SF than don’t turn into full scale riots?

It’s Black Friday, a big shopping day, maybe they were looking for a little smash-and-grab along with the mayhem.

Some photos. I’m looking for other feeds to see protest banner messages.

It took this reporter awhile to stumble upon the broken windows he’d only heard about.

And the media isn’t too keep to highlight marxist/anarchist messaging in public protest banners.

This is not a protest and hasn’t been since it started. Disrupting business, blocking and delaying transportation and preventing the lawful movement of the citizens of the United States is terrorism. And our law enforcement sits by and allows it as if these subs have a right to do it just because they’re black.

When a muslime intruder finally takes advantage of this and blows something up he will be doing the exact same thing these idiots are doing now with the express consent of the highest office in our nation; disrupting commerce, delaying and blocking transportation and the lawful movement of American citizens. Terrorism is terrorism no matter what color the perpetrator is. How long are we going to sit by and allow it to be done to us? It will only get worse.

There are marches in SF almost every day that don’t turn into riots. City government, police, and most of the populace are
in tune with each other. What is going on here is a function
sponsored by the DBC (discount buyers club). Their goal is to serve their members by negotiating $0.00 pricing with merchants. This is about Christmas shopping, not Ferguson.

Do the Communists/Anrchists (sometimes under the banner of ‘punk rock’, Rock Against Reagan, Rock Against Racism, whathaveyou) typically engage in peaceful protests? The history I’ve read, from their own accounts, is that they go in prepared for violence and damage.

Notice the Left is okay with shutting down roads and businesses but don’t dare let the extremist Republicans shut down the government!

Justice may arrive when they least expect it. This only happens where the citizens right to carry has been supressed by the politicians.

Couldn’t happen to better group of people.

The SF posers support every violent cause there is and then go back to living in their overpriced hovels.

This is the world they wanted, let me have more of it.

Oakland invades...live with it, butt boyz.
