CHICAGO (CBS) – Dozens of activists staged a demonstration Friday morning at the Historic Chicago Water Tower on Michigan Avenue, calling for a boycott to protest the controversial grand jury decision in Ferguson, Missouri.
With anger still simmering over the grand jury’s refusal to charge Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson with any crime for fatally shooting Michael Brown, an unarmed black teenager, protests have continued throughout the week across the U.S.
Protesters have called for a boycott of Black Friday shopping, in an effort to call attention to what they called the inherent injustice of capitalism.
“We’re in a system that values black dollars, but not black bodies. So we want to send a message on this day, particularly for everybody, to not spend money on a system that will not deliver justice,” said Malcolm London, with the Black Youth Project 100....

The photo at the link seems to show more white than black protestors.
You stole my thunder! I was going to say the same thing. The "Black dollars" are recycled white taxpayer dollars.
End welfare, and see how many "Black dollars" there are.
How the legitimate problems with slavery, racism, and second-hand citizenship have morphed to defending a strong arm robber, police assaulter, and ultimately an attempted murderer of an officer of the law, folks need to figure out.
It doesn’t make sense, and comparing this sorry ass excuse for an 18 year old male, to those other people who had actual grievances, reduces the legitimate problems mentioned above to mere jokes.
Brown was a blight on legitimate racial claims.

Let’s put this in perspective. 12 fools “demonstrating” out of a population of approximately 12, 000, 000 in the Chicago metro area. Haha.
Members of Occupy Chicago also were taking part in the protest. Gasp, what a shocker. These people are behaving even more desperately foolish as the days go by because the evidence is overwhelming in Officer Wilson’s favor. The evidence is neutral / not bias and in this case it showed Brown was not surrendering nor was shot in the back as these lies are being broadcasted by these irresponsible people who thee unformed take their words as the gospel.
Somehow I’m not impressed.
Maybe Michael Brown’s strong armed robbery of swisher sweets was really an attempt to expose the corrupt tie in of capitalism and narco trafficking. On second thought, maybe not.
Is “don’t spend your dollars on capitalism” code for “let’s be lootin”?

They’ve been doing that since at least the 1931 Scottsboro Boys case. Commies don’t give a crap about blacks; they just want to use them to achieve their nefarious ends.
I have a friend who was at Ferguson, he works for a TV station, and he said there were a hell of a lot of Muslims there. And they were whipping the crowds into blood lust.
Michael Brown was engaging in “five finger discount shopping” just befure he assaulted officer Wilson.
Doesn’t that mean he wasn’t “down for the struggle”?
The protest in Detroit the other day was described as “2 or 3 dozen”.

Yes, the Muslims (including Palestinians & NOI), anarchists, communists, Trotskyites, Maoists, Left-wing NGOs, Chicago crowd, Black Panthers, Berkeley people, LaRaza & LULAC folks, Occupy, ACORN, International ANSWER, Code Pink, unions and a bunch of other unsavory types are all mixed in here. I’ve seen numerous articles admitting as much. I’ve even posted some.
