Guess a lot of people don’t care that she switched parties.
Susana Martinez switched parties in 1995, before running for elected office, in a state that was dominated by Democrats. I don't see that as a negative for her.
I've heard some good, and nothing bad about her tenure as a Republican governor in NM. She seems like a decent person.
She may not be the sharpest candidate that pops up on the GOP side, but she is miles ahead of the mentally retarded unnamed potential candidate from her neighboring state to the east.
