when in reality, Conservatives are pure centrists... while claiming that lieberals are the center. As usual, turning the language upside down.
By their reasoning, Washington/Madison/Jefferson/Adams/Hamilton/Lincoln/Franklin and so on were right-wing wackos.

No doubt, many liberals are happy to believe exactly that about all except Lincoln. They imagine Lincoln to be some kind of flawless saint because they swallow the image without knowing any of the actual facts. An amazing number go so far as to believe that Lincoln was a Democrat and of course the GOP calls itself, “the party of Lincoln” which is, in my own opinion, a poor choice of identity.
