The world is ending!
That was the message of last night's episode of The Newsroom. In yet another laughable example of The Gore Effect, as Buffalo, New York was digging out of a record seven foot snowfall, Will McAvoy was interviewing a government official, Richard Westbrook, Deputy Assistant Administrator of the EPA, who proclaimed that not only is the world doomed due to global warming but there is absolutely nothing we can do about it. Since this is the final season of The Newsroom it appears that the creator, Aaron Sorkin not only wants to end the show with a bang but take down the entire world with it as you can see in this video:

I say we put Al Gore in a Prius and stick him on the Mass Pike this coming Wednesday. Then he can preach to us about "global warming".
Didn’t watch its 1st episode, won’t watch its last. Laundry needs to be done. Sorkin rides his Shetland, I do something productive.

The climate has changed many times in the past. It will change in the future. There isn’t anything we can do about it and our contributions to change are negligible. There were far worse events like the Siberian Traps and the Toba Eruption long before we even comprehended what carbon emissions were.
They are right about one thing, (if it existed) there is nothing we can do about it.
As I told my B-I-L the Prius driver who thinks he is saving the world, piss in the Ocean and see if the Sea Level rises.
The Erf is Doooomed...It does look like Barack Obama has stopped the rise of the oceans though.

The liberal news organizations that have spent the last half century warning of doom unless global warming was addressed, were wrong. We’re still here, and we’re still freezing half the year.
On the other hand, it’s the liberal news organizations that have been doomed. Where are ‘’Time’’ and ‘’NewsWeek’’? Every year the global temperature fails to rise as predicted, and every year staff cuts in the liberal media continue to grow. And Al Gore becomes a bigger joke.
If it’s not doomed

have no source for their self-righteousness.
I did some research to find out what the left had to say about the polar caps GROWING instead of shrinking as predicted (assumed).
The best was the LAT, which stated something to the effect of
“Scientists are trying to explain how polar ice is growing when the earth is warming.”
Notice the ASSUMPTION that the earth is warming,
and trying to fit reality into that assumption.
We could cool the earth by putting an additive in aviation fuel. Luckily we’re not warming so it’s not necessary.
You earn your keep watching the stuff I can’t. Aaron Sorkin is certifiably insane. Anything with his name on it, especially later on in his career, I will not watch.
