We urge our elected officials to work together to craft a viable immigration system. Our leaders must place family unity, human dignity, mercy and justice, transparency and accountability at the center of this crucial debate. I am old fashioned.
I think American sovereignty,respect for our laws and safety should come first.
The feel good stuff would be secondary to those goals. -tom
