It is truly sad to watch this guy run roughshod over the Republicans. It's more sad to see so many Conservatives hang their hopes on a party that they refuse to allow themselves to see, is just as supportive of what Obama is doing as Obama himself is.
The GOP will not oppose Obama because he is doing what they in reality, support.

He is not “running roughshod” over Republicans. He and the Republicans are running roughshod over the citizenry. He cannot do any of this without the nonco-operation and plain complicity of the Republicans, at least not this year. Next year he probably doesn’t need Republican help any more.
