When the new Congress is sworn in next year, Michele Bachmann will no longer be serving. And it will be a major loss to America.
Bachmann has been a rare and nearly lone voice sounding the alarm about the threat of Islam and about government infiltration by the Muslim Brotherhood.
And for speaking the sobering truth, she has been mocked, ridiculed, dismissed, and/or ignored. Not just by those on the left, but by those on the right, as well.
In honor of Congresswoman Bachmann, Ive selected a few interviews and articles that highlight her courageous voice.

Michelle is one brave women I agree.
Hope she can avoid what happened to this brave lady back in 2010.

I don’t believe the official account. She angered too many.
Unfortunately many on the right would like her to shut up as well. Muslims like Grover Norquist like their influence a lot.
Just pray she knows better than to go to a meeting at Ft. Marcy Park.
But who had her back? The same Republican leaders who are presently selling us out? The same fatcats aligned with Karl Rove who are parceling out bags of money to discredit and defeat real conservatives in places like Mississippi? The Bushes? Hardly.
The worst of this is that the object lesson for conservatives who aim to practice high principles in public service is that the conservative cause is a losing cause and its exponents can expect only martyrdom. So Michelle Bachmann exits the stage to join Sarah Palin who was also edged off the stage for the same reasons, by the same people, with the same tactics.
The war on conservative women goes on. It is a pity that these two must fall victim
Take a look at her biography. She isn't just a talker. She has lived a decent if exhausting life for which she has been castigated and humiliated by the local press and many leaders in her own Party, even in Minnesota where you would think she would land on a pedestal.
She was a lifelong Democrat who followed Reagan's example that the Party left her. Her public career started because she tired of her state senator for a number of reasons. He was a Republican. She ran against him in the primary. Her campaign was one of door knocking i.e. the proverbial shoestring.
I've worked in another Republican BPOU in Minnesota since about 1995. You can't imagine the whining I heard from Republicans who should have known better about the damage she did. I told one true and very real Republican leader whom I sincerely respect that when you make rules for other people, you can't be good old boys in a club. Have a barbecue for the good old boys, but get them the bejeebers out of rule making office. That leader and I are still friendly in public and private, although we don't necessarily agree in my belief that leaders should only get loyal support when they earn it.
Public insults and attempts to humiliate Bachmann never caused her to retreat an inch. I wish I could look back on my life and say I lived the decent life she has in every instance that I know of and faced each day with the courage she has.
She won't be mourned when she leaves the Congress in January. She will be missed.
A conservative is replacing her. I hope he can avoid the DC virus as well as she has. Like Michele, I don't think the Religion of Peace has fooled him.
Thank God for Bachmann and King in D.C. during these times of trial. They have been 2 of about 14 or 15 true conservatives in the GOP over the last 6 years. their influence has been essential in slowing many of the worst initiatives of both the leftist dems and reps in the House.
Michelle Bachmann is a fantastic person. I hate that she’s leaving Congress but who can blame her? I think the good ones finally get sick of fighting.
Hat tip to the lady.
Gutless.
Spineless.
Clueless.
THIS is why I did not celebrate the recent Republican sweep of the Congress. As I had expected and feared, the Pubs just do not have any “Leaders” or “Statesmen” within their party at all.
The next Congressional election will be an overwhelming rejection of the incumbent - regardless of party affiliation.
SORRY - WRONG THREAD!!!!
LOTS of republisenates up for grabs in ‘16.
Well, I wasn’t impressed when Bachman decided to run for President. She hired a consultant, a person constantly seen on FOX. However, when she hired him, the first thing he did was go on TV and start bashing Sarah Palin.
I was just furious, because I recall Sarah Palin had been several places with Bachman, supporting her re-election to the House.
And .. to make matters worse, Bachman then proceeded to have her consultant apologize to Palin - IN PRIVATE. And .. I don’t believe Bachman ever publically apologized to Palin.
Anybody that ruthless is off my list of people I want in Congress.
Sadly, the things she supports NOW are things I would support .. but I don’t trust her.
