yep. easy to imagine. Twenty years ago I “imagined” a one cubic foot battery that would power an entire house for one year and would cost only $1000.00 dollars, and anybody who wanted one could buy one from Walmart. Hadn’t happened yet though. And right now, no number of billions spent will make it happen, either.

problem with projecting what happened 20 years ago onto what’s happening now is that the state of the art of research technology now is in the realm of science fiction compared to what was available 20 years ago.

We’re living in a very different technological world.

Currently (no pun intended), that battery would probably be as tall as a six story building.
