They can now legitimately be called a lynch mob. And they should be called a lynch mob, at every opportunity, because if the public accepts them as such, many prosecutors will immediately be reminded of the many anti-Ku Klux Klan laws that are still on the books.

Importantly, while those laws were written with the KKK in mind, they did not specifically name the KKK, but are written in general terms, specifically against lynch mobs.

So, while the smirk that swept across the black cop’s face Thursday night might have been a slight betrayal of his attempt at stoicism, to the protesters who taunted him it was tantamount to a capital offense. “You think this is funny?” they screamed. “You think racism is funny?” He didn’t answer, obviously.

Maybe not funny, but he clearly did consider the protestors' racism ironic.

The worst part is that none of these protestors are residents of Ferguson. Even the rioters are staying at home until they see what happens.

The people the police are facing are paid professional agitators/communists/muslims/anarchists. It's a show with promise of a live human sacrifice. One of the pros gets to be the martyr for the cause as soon as the other pros can provoke the police enough.

This is what it is about now. Trying to get one of their own killed so they can score big off the ensuing litigation.

Could someone tell me what these demonstrators actually DO for a living? Do they live off the federal government? Are they paid “community organizers”?? They don’t seem to have actual jobs, otherwise they wouldn’t be able to travel there and demonstrate on a 24 hour basis.
