The GOP is a lot more troubling IMO, Maudeen. They’re the ones who are supposed to OPPOSE the socialists. As many us have realized over the years, they are in bed with them and spooning under the covers.
You are probably right. . .it’s those winks and nods and secret concessions. In a nutshell. .it has nothing to do with the welfare of the country. . only their self serving interests. Saw it with our own Republican congressman’s stand on Israel. It was so disappointing to get a letter from him with his go along to get along attitude. He can smile all he wants in his family “political” portraits and tout country and family values but God will be the final judge of his votes and lack of judgement.
