If he gets clear sailing after this “limnited” amnesty there will be rapid expansions of it. The number of amnestied illegals or their particular circumstances is only good for the announcement. In reality the granting of privileges will much more expansive but that won’t be talked about. It will just keep going with later official expansions. When none of this is met by effective congressional action it will be followed by a grant of Citizenship to essentially everyone who is in the country and can be induced to vote. Once the first steps are taken unopposed the last one is easy and the Revolution will be complete, barring the military taking a different view and if the military intervenes the Republic is pretty much over also and I doubt it will. So long as the middle class is still a middle class, there will be no uprising from that quarter, either.
You are talking about Republicans. There will be no threat to federal employees who follow Der Sultan’s unConstitutional orders.

Good point. Obama tore up the Constitution long ago. There is nothing left of it for him to tear up with his lawless decree in this evening's speech.
