White House Director of Communications Jennifer Palmieri affirmed to Morning Joe Thursday morning that President Barack Obama’s proposed executive action carving out legal protection for undocumented immigrations currently residing in the United States was within his constitutional powers, and did not represent an executive power grab of regal dimensions.
“He’s not king,” Palmieri said. “He can’t just pick up the piece of legislation that the advocates and he were pushing for and implement that.

Has anyone contmeplated going after federal employees that implement Obama’s illegal executive order? If i were in charge of the House or Senate I might consider issuing a warning that any federal employee that violates the laws on the books will be held accountable after all of this shakes out.
It would be interesting to see if some employees refuse to follow Obama and are reprimanded by their superiors. How the Gov. could justify disciplining them when they were simply following the law would be interesting to see play out in a courtroom. Conversely, any employee punished someway by congress for following an illegal obama order could sue but would have to admit they broke the law and followed orders instead.

He’s not going to tear up the Constitution. He is just putting it in a box and closing the lid. It will later be placed in a museum with limited patronage so that future sultans can look at a relic of the bad old days.
