I hate the law as much as the next person. I want it repealed 5 years ago.

But, to me, the most disturbing thing about this is what he said about Kennedy and how he figured out a way to steal all the money from Medicare. Yet, Republicans are always the ones painted that they want to take it away from everyone. And yet, no one cares. O’care does the same thing to help offset costs, but no one cares. People really are stupid.

Once heard a story that if SocSec were its own separate entity and not part of the general fund, that it would be solvent, or at least more stable than it is now. I can’t imagine it being all the stable no matter what, given the strain of all the phony disabled and illegals on it. Anyone shed some light on that?

The fundamental problem with SocSec and Medicare is that they always have been transfer programs not investment programs that accrue returns for the working life of the beneficiary.

It’s like you retire tomorrow and some person still in the workforce has to start sending you a pension payment each month.

I’m guessing that if all my contributions were invested -wisely -and not touched, there would be enough money to pay my SS when I retire. And there would be enough extra to cover those that never paid in much (illegals, disabled, housewives).

But the money I paid in was spent as soon as I made it. It’s all gone. No lockbox -remember the Al Gore parody?

Stupidity Reconsidered: Election Proved Americans Aren't Fooled by Gruber and Obama

Dr. Ben Carson | Nov 19, 2014

http://townhall.com/columnists/drbencarson/2014/11/19/stupidity-reconsidered-election-proved-americans-arent-fooled-by-gruber-and-obama-n1920600

”What is truly disturbing is the fact that our government is willing to engage in the purposeful deception of the populace in order to thrust its secretive agenda onto an unsuspecting populace and a sycophantic mainstream media. As I have said many times before, Obamacare was never about health care; it was about government control and wealth redistribution.” (Ben Carson)

Not a single Republican senator or Congressman voted in favor of that monstrosity called Obamacare. It must be make perfectly clear that democrat Phd com man Gruber, called stupid not all the American voters, but just the democrat voters that put the “Liar in Chief” in the White House, in spite of his Marxist anti-American back ground, and all the Democrats legislators co-conspirators with the president and the MSM in the greatest deception against the American people in the history of the United States.

Obamacare Architect/ Non-Staff Member Visited The White House Quite A Bit

Matt Vespa | Nov 19, 2014

“Mr. Gruber went to the White House at least six times in 2009, according to a review of visitor logs. He met with the president on July 20, 2009, and was joined by other economists. Some of the other meetings were held with Jeanne Lambrew, deputy assistant to the president for health policy, and Peter Orszag, former director of the Office of Management and Budget.

Mr. Gruber visited the White House at least twice in 2010 and met with Jason Furman, who is now chairman of the president’s Council of Economic Advisers. Mr. Gruber meet with Ms. Lambrew at least twice this year and was at the White House as recently as June, the records show. For five of the meetings, visitor records don’t show when Mr. Gruber arrived or departed, making it unclear whether the appointments were kept.

Mr. Gruber wrote a 2011 cartoon book called “Health Care Reform” that aimed to explain the federal law. A note about the author says Mr. Gruber “consulted extensively with the Obama administration and Congress during the development” of the law.”

According to Obama, the MTI professor, a frequent visitor to the White House, was just a ”random” adviser. For his “invaluable advise and services” to the Obama administration professor Gruber received over 5.9 million dollars... Stupidity and corruption to the nth power.
