Two weeks after the election, five house seats remain undecided.

Five congressional seats in three states remain too close to call or undecided. They are:

  1. Arizona 2nd: GOP Challenger Martha McSally leads incumbent Ron Barber by 179 votes.
  2. California 7th: GOP Challenger Doug Ose leads incumbent Ami Bera by 530 votes.
  3. California 16th: GOP Challenger Johnny Tacherra leads incumbent Jim Costa by 741 votes.
  4. Louisiana 5th: Single Democrat candidate Jamie Mayo leads with 28% of the total, but has an uphill climb against a crowded GOP field who garnered 69%. The leader was Ralph Abraham with 23%, who seems all but certain to win the December 2nd run-off.
  5. Louisiana 6th: Top spot for the run-off goes to Edwin Edwards, who manged 30% against two other Democrats, versus Garret Graves, who managed 27% against six other Republicans. Given the combined GOP total of 64%, it is tough to see Edwards pulling out a run-off win.

Current House make-up is 244 GOP to 186 Jackass. Once these five races are decided, it could be 249-186. At worst, 244-191.

watch az cd 2. They did this to her last election. Martha McSally actually went to dc for orientation and then came back and had her seat taken away from her.

With 2 runoffs and 3 in the counting process, I’d brace for an outcome of 2 R’s and 3 ‘Rats (J’s, in your vernacular).

Counting, counting, and more counting favors one party in particular. Runoffs, not so much.

My parents live in Costa’s district. Judging by all the anti-Costa signage I see in Madera County, I have a hunch that only the Democrat fraud machine is keeping him in his seat.

If the dumble candidates were ahead by such small margins, the races would have been called and certified already....

Time for Freeper “experts” to point out that the Democrats will win all of them and overturn a few other races we thought were settled.

Re: Number 3 - The election information on Costa has him ahead of Tacherra by 803 votes. After the election Tacherra was initially ahead by 760 votes. This is one hell of a swing, but not unexpected. Costa somehow wins the close ones.

The CNN site has higher vote totals, which I’m assuming means they are more accurate.

CA-7 an CA-16 show the incumbent RATs leading there.

Those guys were insufferable on a good day.

Now they’ve all disappeared. Some I suspect went back to DU.

I think both LA seats are expected to go Republican. It should be at least 246R after that.

Those results aren't current. In AZ McSally has a slim lead and is already set for an automatic recount with more legalized cheating planned. In CA Ose now trails by 697 votes and Tacherra by 700, as of this AM, with further counts expected to be released later today. Both lead after election day, Ose by a few thousand IIRC. GOP should win the two LA House runoff elections bigger than their coming romp over Landreau. The House GOP could over turn the locally alleged winner and seat the Republican if they have either guts (doubtful) or brains (conceivable.) Yes the media would scream itself hoarse over overturning Rat cheating, but ample power and precedents exist to allow it. At least when the Rats are doing it. However the media always screams itself hoarse against us, there's little more to be lost there. However any shard of evidence that the GOP leadership would fight for our side could go a long ways towards mending its breech with the base. And with Obama stiffing us left and right on Obamacare, Amnesty, etc., etc. any feigned furor over the outcome of a couple close House seats will be little noted nationally.

Counting, counting, and more counting favors one party in particular.

No kidding! In CA-26 Democrat Brownley led Jeff Gorell by only 530 votes, with over 15,000 mail and other ballots left to be counted. Strangely, though Gorell had been gaining steadily on election night, after the count began on the remaining ballots Brownley suddenly zoomed to a 3,000-vote lead and Gorell conceded. Something stinks to high heaven.
