just enough so Obama can still Veto it
This is the main reason they need to move home to their respective districts. They could do all their business by computer conference, and avoid the corrupting influences in Washington.
Saw her this morning on TV. Then there was a bit on Charles Manson. The eyes. Look at their eyes. Creepy.
If the Democrat Senators were smart....they could use this vote to do in POTUS, Obama...and make him a total “Lame Duck” (He is one already, he just does not know it). How? By voting for the Keystone XL Pipeline!!! I mean with more then sixty-seven votes (both Republican & Democrat, combined), which insure the bill will pass over the “Obama” veto!!!
Why? Obama is imploding....politically, across the board. He is done...toast, politically!!! And...if the Democrat Party does not move to broom him right now they are toast politically....down the road apiece. Mary Landrieu....no matter what she does, is going to be beaten by Bill Cassidy in a devastating, crippling loss....that will embarass the entire Democrat Party. Landrieu is now the “new” Wendy Davis.
She sealed her political fate when she sat silently by, letting the Keystone XL Pipeline lanquish in the drawer of dead beat Democrat leader, Harry Reid and when she cast her vote for “Obamacare”.....kissing Obamas butt....then and forever on!!! The Democrats....all of them....are in a box....and, the only way out of it, is to broom Obama!!! They have a golden opportunity to finish him off, politically.....they use it....or they will rue the day they didn’t!!!
Too little too late. This late empty gesture is just that - empty. Dont worry, we will have the 60 votes in a couple of months from now.
Retiring Senator Tim Johnson (D-SD) is voting no despite the fact the pipeline would bring hundreds of jobs to South Dakota. Thank goodness he is being replaced by Republican Mike Rounds.
