I was thinking the same thing regarding the geography. Both of my kids have friends there whom I could see participating. Something like "Hey get your chalk we're marching to Ferguson to protest. How far? 10 miles? Oh. We'll there's a Starbucks just a few blocks from campus so that's more convenient."

I am quite sure these are WashU students. The kids there are all over the Delmar Loop on a daily basis. It’s where they shop, eat, work, etc. especially early on before they branch out to other parts of St. Louis. They’ve been being brainwashed there for years. It’s a good school, but the politics are on the far left.
