I have no idea why I said “she”
Here in northern Jersey the Home Depots have all of their signs in English & Spanish. The 12 million figure for illegals has to be nonsense because it seems there are at least a million of them in my town of 40,000...
Those dependent on the “poverty industry” for a living will never allow deportation; too many public school teachers and social workers would lose their jobs.
Good list; at this point the de facto amnesty here in NJ has led to a situation where Americans who can’t speak Spanish can’t get jobs as bank tellers, cashiers, or anything else in customer service. Those jobs increasingly go to the anchor babies, born here (and therefore citizens) fluent in both tongues.
I’ve seen people complaining that anyone over 50 can’t find work; increasingly, inability to speak Spanish is costing many younger Americans jobs as well.
Excellent argument!!
If we dried up the welfare for these idiots and arrested those employing them, they would self deport.
They did this in Southern California, A Day without a Mexican, and voila, a day with no traffic backups.
Civil asset forfeiture is not ok.
It is, for unpatriotic criminal traitors that hire wetbacks.
They are no different than any other enemy to this country.
Right up there with meth dealers, terrorists and communists
for the damage, property and lives lost.
If all 20 million left at once, we’d lose about 8 station wagons.
“If they all left, our economy would implode and the United states would be pushed into a depression that makes the 1930 look like nothing.”
There could be a slight possibility of an impact as you
suggest but I doubt it would be nearly as bad as what the
Obama caused. Either way we could overcome it and be the better
for it.
“20 million decreases our pollution output by 5%-10%,”
“5%-10%” Are you kidding? 25% minimum.
Irrelevant; if the Constitution is to be respected Civil Asset Forfeiture cannot be held legitimate:
Amendment VOr is the
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
no personconstraint on the government suddenly rescinded because of the charge?
Or is the “no person” constraint on the government suddenly rescinded because of the charge?
Why shouldn’t a person convicted of a crime not be punished
for crimes they committed by having the assets he/she obtained
through their criminal activity confiscated? Of course this
wouldn’t apply for people who hire wetbacks for domestic use
like mowing their yard or cleaning their house. For those
a felony conviction, $100k fine and 15 years in the pen would be a good deterrent.
You said nothing about trials, and civil asset forfeiture is normally done before any trial. (Essentially, you have to prove innocence in order to get what was taken returned.)

Hm, sounds like you're backpedaling to me.
An entertaining pipe dream.
“Hm, sounds like you’re backpedaling to me.”
“You said nothing about trials,”
You should know.
“normally done before any trial.”
“Normally” maybe, but not always. They could just change it
to freeze the assets. We are talking about people
who are causing damage to this country and death and personal
property loss to its citizens. Ok, forget the asset forfeiture and just
make the penalty mandatory 30 years and
let them sell the assets off to pay for their defense. That
would be fine with me as long as the criminal employers are
held accountable.
It would make an interesting premise for a sci fi movie.
bkmk
I’m all for it
I’m a 50 yo woman who just took over my sons yardwork job
He graduated this year and got a job making 31K a year through an Archtectural Construction & Engineering program at his school
Before that job he was working a a food business
He got both of these jobs due to people he knows
Before then he just wasn’t getting anywhere
I think you have to know somebody now
I finally got a job on a production line but had to stop after three days when my back blew out
I was crushed
I was hoping I could get a foot in the agency that sent me there
Haven’t worked since January
Dry up the JOB market for illegals and they would stop coming. Many would also leave under those same circumstances.
In my area many aren’t coming for work; they are here for freebies offered by the taxpayers of America.
