We call them RHIB boats in the US Navy. SEALs use them all the time.

Hard lower hull for speed. Inflated sides for positve bouyancy, seakeeping.

Zodiac boats. Fibrglass keel, the rest is inflatable. The US coast guard uses them for boarding crews.
