If there were ever a candidate that needs to be kicked out of Washington, it would be Mary Landrieu. She is the face for abuse, wrongdoings and corruption like under the table favors and kickbacks. I hope she is politically buried from the voters.

Does Mary Landrieu have a prayer?

*******************

Well that depends if she can pull off the trick from the Dec. 1996 runoff against Woody Jenkins.
She used New Orleans to squeeze out the win.

TURN BACK THE CLOCK: How Mary Landrieu Won 'The Big Sleazy' Senate Runoff of 1996

By early afternoon on November 5 exit polls showed Mary Landrieu trailing Woody Jenkins
by about 4 points. So, Miss Landrieu piled into the back of a red convertible with Morial for a
final push through the New Orleans projects. “We hooked up a motorcade to go through those
areas where we knew there to be pro-Landrieu vote,” Tucker says…

When it was all over Mary Landrieu had narrowly won, on the strength of a whopping 100,000 margin
in New Orleans. It was a triumph of organization, of work–and of money. Street politics in
New Orleans doesn’t happen without it.

She’ll have to summon the democrat vote power of dead men, illegals, frequent fliers as and count-until-the-rat-wins.

Damn right she has a prayer, never put it past pubbies to shoot themselves in the foot or grab defeat from the jaws of victory.

If she can get 120% of the vote in the parishes with large populations, she can pull this one out.

Don’t think the Dems aren’t trying. They are probably already printing filled-in emergency ballots. Filled-in so the voters don’t have bother, what with getting graphite pencil marks on themselves or their clothing and such.

Mary Landrieu’s only prayer is that she will not have a cold winter in her family home in Washington DC.

There was a recent article that said that Landrieu may challenge Vitter in the 2016 Senate contest, when more of the low-information voters participate in the Presidential election. She may be down, but not necessarily permanently out. Same with Begich going against Murkowski in 2016 in Alaska.

Two things in Mary’s favor, the NO ballot stuffers and the potential of Republican Apathy.
As loud as they are announcing her demise the only benefit they can hope for is voter suppression through apathy.
Cassidy better be ready to deluge the airwaves the week before the election with a get out the vote.

The Mary Landrieu Prayer

Dear Lord,

I thank you for all the blessing you have bestowed on me, a worthless, not very intelligent, over weight woman.

Please let the Senate pass the Keystone Pipeline bill and please, Dear Lord, sign that bill,

I will not be able to do weight loss ads because I would have to lose weight to be credible. I don’t think I would be good selling plus-size dresses. The energy industry won’t hire me.

Please Lord, save me!

One by one, Mary Landrieu’s paths to victory in her Louisiana Senate runoff are closing off. Rely on the old Democratic coalition? She got a paltry 18 percent of the white vote in the first round.

Yeah, but she can still get the black vote, the welfare vote, the gay vote and the 'we hate men' crazy feminist vote. It's not over 'til the fat lady sings... Oh wait, liberals put out a video game about escaping a town of fat people... The fat woman won't be singing or voting for Mary...

But Politico doesn't have to worry - Politico's liberal elites can pretend the vote doesn't matter because the people who don't show up to vote really like her a lot... so 'she's a winner' even if she loses. That's how liberal double-think works, right?

"Begich ousting Murkowski would not be much of a change"

Murky voted 72% with bammy and begich 98%. I'm all for ousting murky with the other Dan Sullivan (mayor of Anchorage) or Joe Miller even if we fail. I fear she is enthroned for life here in Alaska though. The AK repubs threw their lot in with her even when she wasn't the republican nominee before, why would they change now. Being from Louisiana I do take great pleasure in watching Ms Piggy go down but as in Alaska don't count the labor/socialist cabal out till its over. We're still "counting" the vote here 11 days after the election.
