Anyone who thinks Rand Paul or his crazy pappy are conservatives needs to have his head examined. These people are enthralled by their insane political ideology and love it more than America. They are like mind-controlled cult members who spout the same gibberish regardless of the truth.

The comment is fair enough on it’s face.
Since the military acts on orders from the civilian leadership then it is not responsible for the development of the policies developed by politicians, it merely implements those policies.
The politician is sworn to uphold, defend and protect the U.S. Constitution that is the statement of our liberties and the limits on the scope of government.
I’m not convinced that is what Ventura had in mind.
