Of all the lowdown and ethically void crap they have done, nothing ever truly made my blood boil until that BS midnight stunt they pulled on the healthcare act. After all the blackmail and bribing, they still had to pass it using shenanigans. all I can say is there are more than a few people who are damned lucky I’m not king. I’ve moved from just being disgusted by them into take no prisoners stance. I truly hope republicans do the same thing to them on every damned bill that comes through and leave nothing but scorched earth behind
Shaheen and Warners “ebbulent” behavior upon returning to the Senate cleary demonstrate what you say. They know they did just that and got away with it.
I’m betting Reid had to cut a deal with Schumer. In exchange for not being drive out of Leadership, Harry’s probably going to have to step down from that role after 2016 to make way for Schumer and the others. So even if he wins reelection and the Dems retake the Senate (both will be tough climbs) he’ll never be Majority Leader again.
