Don’t live in fear. Spend your time supporting a real candidate instead of fighting the battles of yesteryear.

Norm, if you read my comments as an endorsement of Romney, you’re not hearing me.

Who didn’t hold their nose that voted for him here? I knew what Obama would do, and was only suspecting of what Romney would do, that and the issues he had already blown it on.

I took a complete pass on McCain, because he had made it perfectly clear he would sell this nation out in every venue. His actions in Libya and Syria confirmed that.

I didn’t see that with Romney. Hey, who actually knew what his foreign policy would be in total? He’d have to have pulled some amazing stunts to be worse than Obama.

As far as I am concerned, ISIS wouldn’t exist today if not for McCain.

I long have said people had to hit a certain level of pain. Pain teaches like nothing else. If people want the same pain with a Republican moniker attached, they deserve it. They really do.

Jim had Romney’s record posted for years. Any thinking person cannot look at that and call it an acceptable option. People mistakenly did the fear thing already. That excuse is now null and void. They have a year to stop lying to themselves. If they go Romney again, they want him. And if thats the case, then the cards can fall where they may.

No, I’m not saying you are endorsing him. I’m simply pointing out the reality that Romney is every bit as evil as Barry. And his brand of politics is every bit as destructive.

Jim, it seems your take is that Romney would have been no better than Obama. Had he been elected, by this time I might agree with you.

In November of 2012, I didn’t. I thought he would be marginally better.

I’m not sure what’s worse, Romney, or everything Romney is with the Islam and international relations thing tossed in.

In normal times, Romney is so radioactive I wouldn’t go anywhere near him. With an Islamic terrorist sympathizer in the White House, I still don’t think we’ve seen the full extent of what Obama can do to us yet.

I think there’s a very good chance we will.

They arent yesteryear Drift. They are happening today. Thats why he’s trial balooning faster than he can buy the rubber to make them on every Sunday show and web interview.

Thanks Norm. I appreciate your comments.

I’m not being dismissive. This is an issue that sucks big-time.

I swore I’d never vote for another RINO, and Romney/McCain are both kings of the RINO kingdom.

I long for a day when someone with normal bedrock values is on our ticket again.

A life-long liberal like Romney as a Republican president marks the official end of the Republican party as even a token resistance party.

You’re really the only one talking about him.

He’s a has been. He’s too old and America is tired of him.

Fight FOR someone.

I don’t think there’s any doubt about that domestically.

Honestly, watching Boehner and McConnell, it’s my take that we’re there anyway.

How we can have so many Republican Governors and State Legislatures, and wind up with what we do in Washington on the Republican Roster?

The RNC, Boehner, and McConnell might just as well be on the Democrat’s payroll.

Actually no, I see threads on him every day I don’t post. So how is what you say true?

With a liberal like Romney as president, the RINOs would get everything they ask for. Amnesty first. And that would be the death of the GOP.

It sure would be nice. Reagan did it. We can make it happen again. But we have to ALL stop electing our problems.

I honestly think Amnesty is a done deal.

Our leadership in the House and Senate have made it abundantly clear they want "comprehensive" immigration reform. They practically flipped us off in public over the issue.

I can't imagine they've suddenly gotten religion on the subject.

I agree with your take on it. It will be the death of the RNC, but more importantly, the death of the nation.

You can't legalize everyone here and survive the three rounds of chain immigration that would result over twenty years.

You start with 25 to 40 million illegals, and work the numbers for three waves from there. La conquista es completa.

I’m hoping Cruz turns out to be the real deal. If he’s not, we can simply write our future off.

So far so good with him. He’s got a couple things that annoy me but that brings him down to about 98% ;) I have seen nothing from him that makes me think he’s not genuine. Or he’s the best actor ever. But I think he’s for real.

My bitching about RINOs aside, God gave us another chance it seems. If we go back into the idiocy of ‘no matter what’ and elect a Romney/Bush/Christie/Paul, we simply deserve whatever happens because we brought it wholly on ourselves.

If they get amnesty, it definitely will be the end of the constitutional republic. You get an immediate influx of 11+ million new democrat voters and government tit suckers, followed by 30-40 million more flooding in from Mexico, Central America, South America and third-world countries around the globe to take maximum advantage of the land of milk and honey and free stuff.
