But Republicans have no mandate because they offered no agenda.

Such tiresome old tripe from the Left:

"You have no agenda!"
"Oh, yeah? How about this? ... how about this? ... how about this? ... we have 340 pieces of legislation READY TO GO!!!"
"But you only criticize! You don't have any plans!!"

I've given up on these people. They are incoherent.

Exactly. What she means is “you didn't propose or pass anything that's on the far left's agenda”

Her husband is cut from the same cloth. Stephen F. Cohen, professor at N.Y.U. and a Russian/Soviet apologist of the first order. He frequently reminds me of Walter Duranty (N.Y.T.) who failed to report the famine in the Ukraine at the hands of the Soviet Union.

If you want to see how corrupt the world view of these two are, check out the article form the New Republic article by Isaac Chotiner (March 2, 2014), “Meet Vladimir Putin's American Apologist”. A quote from the article reminds me of both Cohen and Katrina vanden Heuvel "He is well-informed, and yet also completely clueless."
