Humorless people are in my experience absolutely horrible to be around. Self deprecating ones are usually a joy to be around. Which category do you fit in?
Thoughtful, principled people are often a joy to be around because they don’t care whether they are a joy to be around. In most cases their senses of humor are appealingly dry and inviting, rather than facile and boisterous.
