They might “find” enough ballots to even get Landrieu elected!
(Sarcasm)
The Dems had people in most Native Villages 2-3 weeks before election. Most Indians, good people, they just don’t get too excited about voting for Ga Suches. (kinda like the N word for us Whites). This year the dems really put some effort in to get out the vote in the villages. Do you think 10-20 thousand extra Native dem votes can’t win it for Begich, it can. It’s all legal folks. Our Repubs are asleep at the wheel, I even called them a few weeks back mentioning the goings on in Indian Villages. They said they knew, ya right. The Dems did a better job, if Sullivan gets beat; our Repubs can only look in the mirror. I got several Indian Buddies to vote Repub, hauled them down to vote. I sure hope Begich is history.
The state will begin counting the absentee and questioned ballots at several regional
voting centers across the state on Tuesday.
Additional votes will be counted Friday and then next week, with a goal of certifying
the election by Nov. 28.
The breakdown of votes to be counted includes 32,075 full absentee ballots and 2,443
partially voted absentee ballots; 2,651 early votes and 15,967 questioned ballots.
The number of questioned ballots could increase as the regional vote counting
centers receive additional ballots by mail.

Yes postmarked before poll closing time on election day but can arrive up to 7 days after the election.
My mother and I voted absentee for Ted Cruz in his primary runoff election due to the fact that we would be out of the country during both early voting and election day. Due to Texas law, we had to receive the ballots in the mail at an address out of our home county and mail it back from a county that was not our home county. That was easy. We had them mailed to my brother's address in Austin, where we had the travel agent make as the starting point for the trip. The night before our trip overseas, I took the sealed envelopes to a post office and mailed them in. I'm pretty sure they got counted prior to election night and reported first thing after polls closed. I hate the way so many states have large numbers of absentee ballots either uncounted or counted so long after election day.
They mailed out thousands of ballots on Nov 4th
The state mailed them out on Nov. 4?
thousands of them
apparently they have 15 days to return them
That’s stupid! Mail out ballots should go out no later than a week before the election. I don’t think people should be able to see election night results before sending in their ballots.
