That remains to be seen. It is why I said “might be” in my post.

How do you define “qualified”? That is what it all comes down to. Obama had little if any qualification to be President, but here he is as President. Would he have done a better job if he had been more qualified? I don’t think he would have done anything differently, and if he had, we would be in deeper $#!+ than we are now. Does being a Senator, who was once a Representative, who was once a state legislator, who before that was a county supervisor, make one more qualified to be President than a neurosurgeon?

Every time someone comes along with the right mix of eloquence and ideas, we have to ask if they have been a politician long enough. Haven’t we had enough politicians yet? Then, we have to make sure they haven’t had too much fun or done anything weird in their private lives. Mostly, as conservatives, we have to watch out for questionable sexual practices, like that Jack Ryan guy. His wife was smoking hot, and apparently he said something that was a little bit outside of the prudosphere, and it got him disqualified for the Illinois Senate, at a critical time in Barack Obama’s career. Never mind the coincidence there, but was what he did anything more than just a little bit embarrassing to himself? But the religious sensibilities are ruffled, and there we go. But otherwise, he was qualified.
