The thing is, this numbskull is about the most ethical and best qualified candidate that the Texas Rats can find these days.
And this does not matter to the D voters. That’s the real problem.
Barratry? Is someone mis-spelling Battery?
just goes to show ya..there are no good child molesters or registered Democrats....
So, is he supposed to succeed Sheila Jackson Lee, or Eddy Bernice Johnson?
The verdict was no felony, just misdemeanors. So, I guess he needn’t retire from office unless he feels like it.
Texas has rat “strong holds” outside of big cities?
First, there is no Missouri Springs in Texas. It's Missouri City. There is a Spring, TX in Montgomery County, but I don't think it has anything to do with this story.
Second, Ron Reynolds represents Missouri City in Ft. Bend County, not Montgomery County.
I'm sure the charges against Reynolds are reported accurately, but the where is way wrong.

Recall
Well that photo answers my question as to how this guy got elected in Texas.
And this is why we need to recall these idiots, as I said yesterday. Can we at least get rid of the corrupt/criminal ones (I know that’s a redundant statement)!!!
Another one with a sense of entitlement.....a wasted education.
IBTJCP (In Before The Jackie Chiles Picture).
OMG he’s BLACK!!! I was wondering how a person with THAT kind of record could be RE-ELECTED......well, now I know!!! Do blacks just not CARE a rat’s ass about the QUALITY of people they vote for?? White Democrats do this also, but not in the numbers that blacks do.
He was convicted of a misdemeanor. While he theoretically faces a year in jail - he will probably be sentenced to time served and released. His fine is next to nothing.
As a result, the scumbag can remain in the Texas Legislature.
Hopefully, he will be sentenced to 6 months in prison, starting December 1, 2015.
That will be just long enough to keep him behind bar for the entire 2015 session of the Texas Legislature.
The decision to overturn the conviction was made on Monday as jurors were preparing to hear the punishment phase of the trial. The only African-American member of the panel told Judge Lisa Michalk that she had learned other lawyers indicted in the case accepted a plea deal, and that she shared that information with the jury.Prosecutor Kelly Blackburn said other members of the jury denied it, but the judge determined the conviction was flawed and ordered a new trial.
Jury tampering?
