As the agreements get kicked out, ‘volunteers’ will be harder to come by. And that’s a good thing. It’s beyond my comprehension how someone can have someone’s seed implanted in her, carry the child to term, and then just turn that baby over.
In this woman's case, it seems to have been ideology, wanting a homosexual friend to have the baby he "deserved." For a poor woman in India or Thailand, on the other hand, it's financial need.
