It’s a FARCE. There is NO WAY they can pass the peripheral vision part of their driving exam. So yes, you can legalize them, but no, none will be allowed to drive anyway.

Good. Doing the Things the USAF aren’t allowed to do. Kill them ALL, any way possible.
To explain a bit, Saudi is astoundingly conservative socially, in the real sense, that they only want social change very, very slowly, in baby steps, and are terrified that “the dam will break”, so are always cautious.
As an example, their king wanted to try a very small experiment with democracy, which was huge “thrill seeking” in his opinion. So he allowed an experimental public vote on part of a dull government board, like a planning and zoning board. The public could vote on part of the board, between candidates with very similar platforms.
Still, when the vote came, the police and army were mobilized, just in case there was chaos and anarchy.
The vote went off without a hitch. Mediocre turnout, and if anything, the voters elected candidates that were just a tad more conservative than his previous choices.
He was thrilled. This democracy stuff is okay! We should do this again some time, once I’m over the adrenaline rush and cool off.
So much for certainty from this whacko philosophy.

I’ve taken a Saudi driving test. There’s no peripheral vision test required. It involved looking into a vision testing machine with road sign icons and telling the instructor what sign you saw and which way the arrow pointed. That was all.
I guess now Saudi Arabia is progressing up to the 10th Century.
Not only that but ... The police who bust them have to be women. If their car breaks down, they have to have female AAA peeps.
Madness!
They could not be much worse than male Saudi drivers.
