BEIJING – The leaders of China and Russia have signed agreements to boost their energy cooperation, including an understanding to develop a second major route to supply the Chinese side with Russian natural gas following an initial $400 billion deal in May.

Let’s see - we are kind of beholden to the Chinese due to the debt they own. The Chinese will be a bit beholden to Putin because of a supply of energy. What could possibly go wrong for us?
China having Russia over the barrel and having his way with her is rather good. Maybe Putin behaves a bit in the future after acting out like a teenager and getting punked by China in return.
