The politicians of both sides of the Uniparty (Republicans and Democrats) get to use the IS’s existence as justification for us supporting them so they can fight a Vietnam style never ending war against them......
Heck, if wars were won quickly the defense contractor friends of our politicians like John McCain or Diane Feinstein or whoever would not be able to stay in business and make lots of money from the taxpayer dime.

I was mobilized for Operation Desert Shield/Storm, ‘90 - ‘93. That was a SHORT one, though all part of the whole.
