The only person who hasn’t moved on from this campaign is Mary. Hang it up Mary and start updating your resume for that K Street job you want to land.

Unfortunately, her time in DC must have been spent at the “all you can eat” bar at wherever.

She’s more appropriately suited to be roasting on a spit with some good ole Louisiana Barbeque Sauce liberally applied for all I can see. Nothing there at all.

Landrieu has never been governor, but she ran for governor unsuccessfully in 1995.

She was also able to overcome Woody Jenkins’s challenged to her candidacy because Trent Lott was currying favor with John Breaux, the other LA senator at the time.

Cassidy did not hold office at the time of Katrina, did he, or was he already a state senator then?

Correct, Ted. Sorry. With MSM support, she made herself the spokesperson for 'Katrina's Victims,' and that fooled my memory into thinking she had held state office at the time.

But I still think W should have had her and Ray Nagin shot on Day Two of the Disaster. The NOLA PD commissioner, Ray Crackhead Nagin, and their corrupt City Hall Gang cost many lives and have never been properly punished.

He didn’t become state senator until 2006, a year after Katrina.

Justice has been meted out a little, though. Nagin’s in jail, as is BooBoo Broussard.

“Don’t write her off just yet. Based on the non reporting of Cassidy’s record of what he was doing after Katrina, the media is still going to try to carry her over the finish line”

A campaign TV spot will clean it up, and shed even more negative light on the Pontchartrain Pig.

That woman is like Hillary, a corrupt entrenched politician.

It should be a statewide celebration, the day when she is fired.

Confused Mary Landrieu with Kathleen Blanco.

Coop straightened me out. I will increase Alzheimer’s Meds, if I can remember where I left them.

I recently heard a Louisianan refer to Landreiu as “Senator Honey Boo-boo”.

I can see how that name would fit.

Look in the toaster. That's where I usually find mine.

New Orleans would have had a lot of damage from the wind but the worst damage
came from the levee breaches that ultimately flooded the city with several feet of
water. The eye passed to the east of New Orleans and did major damage in MS especially
along the coast.
