The bar does get lowered when people elect an African-American from Chicago with chip on shoulder who listened to hate speech for 20 years. I listened to an interview with Condoleeza Rice and thought how it would have been nice if she’d have run. First woman, first black, kill two birds with one stone AND have a classy, intelligent person in office to boot.
