WA State Gun Owners Planning Massive I-594 Protest
Western Shooting Journal ^ | 11/6/2014 | R Alexander

Posted on 11/07/2014 6:58:56 AM PST by w1n1

A protest is being organized on Facebook by gun owners upset that gun control measure I-594 passed. I don't like Facebook, but it is a way to reach out to others so they can be aware of this event.
This is taking place on Saturday Dec 13, 2014 in Olympia, the state capital. More details here.
Just letting you know there is a link on that page that goes to FB Rally page info. More to come on this.

2A is absolute. Pay no attention to the Lilliputian laws.

Just do what Colorado gun owners are doing and ignore it. It's completely enforceable anyway, since the state has no way of knowing who owns what guns or when/if a private sale or trade takes place, it is virtually impossible to prove that a seller broke the law unless they are stupid enough to pay by check or give a “correctly” dated receipt. In Colorado, only 15% of private gun sellers bothered obeying the new “universal” background checks (according to data that predicts 90,000 private sales/trades took place and only 13,000 background checks were done)

They will have to get an initiative back on the next ballot and have quite the rally to reverse the law forced through by the billionaires with armed guards. That, or elect conservatives with spines to their congress.

Neither are likely. WA, OR, CA, NY, NJ, CT, MA, etc. are going the way the majority in their state have been lead to think. Sad, because so many, that make up the minority (people that don’t live in cities), are conservative patriots.

Be very concerned. Facebook censors posts. If they deem the content to be too negative they might not post it to the page.
Who knows what other criteria they might use to push their agenda.

Facebook and Google (which this forum, Free Republic dot com, uses) are betraying you to the leftists.

Unlike the NY-SAFE act, it was a public referendum and the will of the voters in Washington.

It speaks more of the (stupid)voters in Washington State than it does anything else. Protesting a ballot initiative seems odd, but take it to court, (and judge shop) like the sodomites did with fag marriage.

Just do what Colorado gun owners are doing and ignore it.

They still ignore it in California, too.

It is a very dangerous tactic.

It depended on three things:

1. Massive saturation of deceptive messaging to low information voters, done with overwhelming money supples, perhaps 8-10 to one.

2. Complicity on the part of the old media to exclude contrary messages.

3. Well done get out the vote and targeted messaging to low information voters, identified with google analytics type information.

It might have been countered with a strong effort from the second amendment side. But they could not overcome the monetary and media advantage of the Bloomberg machine on this.

They simply could not get their message out.

That is a great chart. If it had been delivered to every Washington State voter, it could well have changed the result of the election.

It is just too big of an image for easy use on the net.

Has anyone produced a half sized version that is readable? There seems to be enough empty space in the chart to do that.

While there are many problems with initiatives, a really big problem is that most voters only ever make their decision based on the ballot title alone.

The crazy liberals shooting up schools wanted to blame guns instead of themselves, just like tobacco smokers persuaded it was Big Tobacco’s fault.

Now when Adam Lanza steals a gun to shoot, he will get mental health and the gun owner jail for weapon transfer or recklessness.

I.e we are looking at genocide.

I thought little people were fools of the government for attacking billionaires, but apparently the fat cats themselves are not immune and make us give up for free what we could make them pay dearly for.
