In the 2014 midterm elections, the Republican Party enlarged its majority in the U.S. House of Representatives with continued strong support from white evangelicals and people who attend religious services regularly. In addition, the GOP appears to have made inroads among some religious constituencies that traditionally have not been as supportive of Republican candidates.

Beats me, but they East Coast folks certainly seem connected at the hip with people who hate them.
All you have to do is follow who the Democrats support. Notice how they manage to support Islamic terrorists.
Notice how they support open borders. When you know who else does, it all comes into focus.
The Democrat party will align itself with the worst enemies of Israel, if they think it will benefit the party.
I couldn’t stand for that, and I’m not even Jewish. If I was, I’d be furious.
Well hell, I already am...
Great question. Might as well add a few more:
How can any Black vote for a party that wants to keep Blacks on the plantation?
How can any Catholic vote for a party that wants to murder the unborn?
How can any American vote for a party that wants to destroy America?
that’s a campaign slogan for anyone in philly
east coast pucky. black, catholic and jewish relgious oriented people vote for baby killers at like over 50% at least the evangelicals vote pub mostly. not sayin pub is always a good vote.
I know what you mean.
I don’t know what the Catholic vote comes in at. You may be right. I just haven’t seen figures on it.

“How can any Jew vote for a party that wants to destroy Israel? “
How can blacks vote for a party that keeps their children in failing schools and supports teachers’ unions instead?
Honestly, I think you have to say that their religious beliefs (and I’m talking everyone, not just Jews) don’t inform their morality very much. We all know there’s a difference between religion and a relationship with God.
Interesting post.
Jews gave 2/3rds of their votes to the RATS in 2014, but of course, we’re always told that they’re “in play” for the GOP because we “stand with Israel”.
Meanwhile, 54% of Catholics voted GOP in 2014. (as usual, voting for the party that America as a whole voted). But of course, numerous freepers will claim Catholics are “totally owned by the Democrat Party” and “one of the most loyal Democrat constituencies”
So let’s not let pesky facts get in the way of how we label the ideology of various faiths.
