The ulterior motive here is to BLAME it on the GOP. He’ll ask the GOP congress to support “boots on the ground”, to fund it, and to support it. Then he’ll blame it on them so he saves face with his “Marxist”/progressive/libtard base.

Something wrong with this story, there is some other ulterior purpose.

Obama is waging the war based on Bush's war resolution. He can't stand this because he was adamantly against the resolution back then and so he now flagrantly a hypocrite. He was not able to get a resolution done with Dems in charge and he looks weak compared with Bush because he couldn't get a resolution done and Bush could.

What's ironic is that it's his own party which blocked him from getting the resolution. Now that the GOP is in charge he has a better chance of getting it done.
