That doesn’t sound like Obama. That sounds like another promising Republican who was pushed too soon. Hopefully, that mistake won’t be repeated.

Lordy! I hope she’s not the “Obama of the Republican Party.” Being of Haitian descent doesn’t make her anything like our half-African-graduate-student and half privileged- white-hippie-chick Muslim and foreign raised president.
I don’t like Mormonism, but she obviously has found a way to work around it and I don’t think she’d be attempting to impose it on the rest of us.
I think we need more political parties on the ballot. People can vote how they wish to vote, our votes are now owed to anyone or any party.

Mia Love is nothing like 0blahblah. She has substance and was not elected because of her skin color. She understands and believes in the principles America was founded upon. For example she is very big on personal responsibility.
Actually, Mittens lost the Mormon vote.

It’s racist because Mia would be Mia no matter what her race was, and like Dr Carson it offends her that the Dims appeal to black Americans is a strategy of racial division, paternalism, and appealing to a government plantation society mentality that the Dims have encouraged. The Dims’ strategy to black Americans is 100% a strategy of manufacturing and encouraging fear.
And the media, of course, will continue to spin their lies of a racist and sexist party.
The GOP also won the Governor's seats in Democrat strongholds Mass, Maryland, and Illinois.
Democrats specifically targeted Scott Walker in Wisconsin, and spent heavily there with union money. He won anyway.
Among all governor races, it went 24-9 for the GOP.
Among all Senate races, it is currently 20-10, GOP.
Among all House races, it is currently 243-179, GOP.
Obama himself said these midterm elections were about his policies. Let's see if he holds to that if/when the Republicans work to reverse his policies that were just heavily repudiated at the ballot box. "Elections have consequences", as he said in 2012.
Other notes:
The only other Governor from India - Bobby Jindal, Republican.
Kelly Ayotte, Deb Fischer, Susan Collins, and Lisa Murkowski are also current sitting Republican female Senators.
There are as many black Republican Senators as Democrat Senators in the next Congress.
Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott is a paraplegic, and his wife is the first Hispanic First Lady of Texas.
Carl DeMaio is in a race that is still undecided, but could be the first openly gay Republican in the House. (CA-52nd district)
