It matters in that the numbers are important for committee composition, etc. One of the reasons why even a total RINO is better than any Dem. Marginally better, perhaps, but still better.
True. We just have to keep the margin of RINOs small enough that we have 50+ real votes. When we are in the majority, they are always waiting to jump ship on the big issues.
