End fossil fuels? What a way to further divide the haves vs have-nots, and further hinder the latter from joining the former. Developing peoples _need_ to transition thru intermediate technologies to grasp and surpass the intervening science & consequences, otherwise it’s just “magic” and you get “Common Core” results (painfully learn the advanced methods, but have no comprehension of why).
No. It is well understood that it’s not a real alternative, in terms of how much energy can be produced from each gallon of sunlight.
I am not talking about solar as the sea change, never mentioned it!
