Ohio ping
So, the question must be asked. We won top to bottom in 2010 including knocking off top Dem leaders at all levels and taking seats we’ve not had in generations. More of this last night. So, What the heck happened in 2012?
I am happy that some sheeple know _something_.
This race deserves close scrutiny as there are many elements in it that capture what Americans are searching for beyond the boundaries of this district and beyond the state borders of Ohio.
An important fact to keep in mind: in 2012 24% of the electorate registered Independent; in 2014 42% of the electorate is registered Independent. That’s a seismic shift by any measure and is barely in the news because there’s no leader or issue that defines Independents other than it’s not democrats and it’s not establishment republicans.
Tea Party minded Conservatives who are committed to conservative issues have a special opportunity to resonate with Independent voters. Ted Cruz will win by a landslide in 2016 by taking 2/3’s of the Independents and all of the Conservative Base.
