It’s Bill Cassidy vs Mary Landrue in the runoff on dec 6.

send your support to Bill cassidy

That witch mary landrue voted for obamacare and is for amnesty and for socialism.

without her vote Obamacre would not have passed

i voted for cassidy and will again dec 6. i’m counting the minutes

last night was a great victory and it will be complete on dec 6.

Cassidy is, at best, a mixed blessing. Maness would have been far better, but we have to use what we get.

I've been a Texan many, many years now.

Someone pls explain why LA. had 3 Republicans, 4 Democrats and a Libertarian on the ballot? ...no primary system?

If he’d done that a week ago, there would be no run-off and we’d be rid of the repulsive Landrieu now.

Landrieu is counting on the fact that the GOP took over the Senate so we won’t want another scalp. The GOP needs to double and triple their efforts in Lousiana and bring this into the win column. She needs to pay for her vote on Obamacare. With this and Alaska we’ll have 54 seats and that means the GOP can really get some things done. They will be able to get some Dems and get fillibuster proof votes on key issues. Send it to Obama and let him represent the party of No.

OK. Google knows everything:

Louisiana uses what's called a Jungle Primary System

It's free for all, everyone's on the ballot.

Just learned what a Jungle Primary is, a big free for all.

Gezzzz, with a normal primary, Cassidy would have won outright w/o runoff it looks like.

Yeah, well, now is the time to stop wishcasting and to start dealing with reality...

This is a good thing. Any executive orders or congressional action that will hurt the oil refineries in Louisiana will be put on hold for now. That might also extend to immigration. Further, Cassidy now knows how many people REALLY want him to move to tghe right (as Manness’ total doesn’t include a number of arch-consservatives who wanted Cassidy to be the #1 seed in the runoff.

None of these folks get seated until next year anyway. The good folks of Louisiana will have to put up with a few more ads, I guess. Right now, Landrieu seems to be positioning herself for a position in the Obama cabinet, or perhaps as a lobbyist.
