"Shortly before midnight, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada congratulated current Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, saying McConnell would succeed him as Republicans regained control of the Senate for the first time since 2006.
“I don’t expect the president to wake up tomorrow and view the world any different than he did this morning,” McConnell said hours earlier, after winning his own race. “He knows I won’t either.”
Great, Mitch... great.
At least he was smart enough not to say this yesterday.
The republicans better have amandate in place to rid Dc of the corruption and Obumbler or there will be hell to pay in 2016. Do not squander the opportunity. No reaching across the aisle - chop some worthless pieces of garbage off in DC. Start with Obama Biden Holder, Pelosi and Reid - Rid America of these parasites. Failure to do so the voters will oust you next.

No fan of Mitch---but his victory speech was awesome. And that nice gesture to traditional woman---acknowledging his wife in his life and "by his side."

Remember when the dems used the nuclear option to get appointments through? Mitch came out later saying that if repubs got control, they’d set it back to 60% cloture. What a fool. You think they’d slap the dems w/that by running their appointments through w/50% cloture as payback.

p.s., On Fox last night they had a CA repub there and asked if he’d vote to repeal commie care, he said he’d vote to replace it.

With such significant changes in the layout, folks like Mitch may indeed make dramatic changes in their operating. It is way too early to know how this is going to shake out, but it is definitely not the time to conducting a dental exam of the gift horse.
In true RINO fashion, the GOP mandate will carry the flag for the Democrats.
