Indeed. Of all the good news, that one warmed me the most. Read his book "Unintimidated" for a close-up on how the unions/Democrats tried to stampede him. Quite an eye-opened for even this polotical cynic.
I will read Scott Walker’s book. He is truly a working class hero, taking on the repressive, oppressive, suppressive unions.
I voted for Lollar, too. He strikes me as a true conservative. After the primary he ran for county commissioner in Charles County, but it appears that he lost.
Perhaps if Hogan is able to bring down taxes and fees, voters will warm to the idea of having a Republican in the governorship, and we could get an actual conservative down the road.
With Ehrlich, the General Assembly fought him every step of the way. I hope Hogan learned from Ehrlich’s mistakes, and knows how to counter the Rats. Of course, the media performed for their Marxist masters by trashing Ehrlich every chance they got. Hope Hogan knows how to counter that.
Yes, Lollar, thank you. Isn’t that terrible? But then, no one ever seems to really campaign so their name is out there so long it is memorable.
I did think from what I read Lollar might have been the best choice. If in doubt, I would pick the minority or the woman, because often they are not afraid to air their views unlike the white guys.
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
(Maybe I can start calling it the Sane State in January.)
