I expect that most of Col. Maness’s voters will support Cassidy in the runoff, even if they do so a bit reluctantly. So that’s likely another pickup.
Even if re-elected, she will not have the post as part of the minority in the senate.

Cassidy ran a strong simple campaign, Maness is a rising conservative star and Mary will be fired. It’s all good.
