Yes, and IL voters passed the “Millionaire’s tax”. Granted, that tax would still have to get by Rauner, who strongly opposes it, but it will be interesting to see if any honest money stays in the state.

I saw so many comments about this race from former Illinois residents. They left because they were taxed to death.

Rauner still has a very uphill climb against Mike Madigan who runs the House and Senate in Springfield and his daughter is the Attorney General.

The good news is unlike 2010. They rats weren't able to "find" enough ballots to cover the difference even though they called their constituents on their Obamaphones to get them to the polls.

The advisory referendums are meaningless and should not have even been on the ballot, if the legislature even takes up the tax all we need is one rat to vote no to sustain a veto.

It REALLY sucks that we did not gain even 1 seat in the state House. Jeez.
