West Alexander THANX you for this thread.
After voting around 1030 or 11, we went shopping in three different stores.
I found the opportunity to ask the cashiers if they had voted and/or if they were going to vote
Not a one (all about 30 - 40 yrs old) had voted or were going to.
I sneeringly told them when their taxes go up (if wolf gets in) they should remember this day and that some guy asked them to vote and they refused
Not feeling very confident about Corbett

Corbett has been fully exonerated, but that does not matter to masses of asses. Corbett ran a weak campaign, but for anyone to vote for this Communist nut Wolf illustrates pure insanity. Bob

Corbett deserves to lose. The people of PA don’t deserve a Governor Wolf’s. If Corbett somehow pulls this out of his hindquarters, it will be despite his governing and campaign, not because of it. This is a good time for the conservatives in PA to figure out a strategy for throwing the bums in PA GOP leadership out.

It's a whole lot more than that — everything from the increased gasoline tax to his failure to dump the LCB. Wolf also has the usual well-oiled smear machine, painting Corbett as an enemy of our children and their education. The reality is that Corbett was trying to curb spending on new football stadiums and teacher salaries — those things which do nothing to educate our children.
Much of the problem has been a Republican-controlled legislature that behaves more like a Democrat controlled legislature. It's tough to get anything done as governor if the legislature won't cooperate. So Corbett has spent his administration going along just to get along. Not a good way to run a state.
However, I held my nose and voted for Corbett today only because Tom Wolf will be a lot worse. Sad that so many will vote for Wolf just because they hate Corbett. They have no idea what misery awaits when Wolf takes over.

Nothing would be more shocking than Corbett winning another term. His stride has finally been hit, months too late. Sorry! Bob

Gas tax? STOOPID, yes. No one can rationally blame Corbett for his failure to privatize liquor stores. He is not a dictator.
