Those people who walked out will vote. They will show up and catch the bus and get driven around to various voting sites and get their “walking around money” and then get dropped off on their street corner again.

The Republicans were supposed to be in shambles after 2008. And 2012. But the Democrats gave them causes to unite around. The GOP may well do the same for the Dems.

While I agree with the general premise of the headline, let us remember: Barone predicted Romney would get 300 or more electoral votes.

In the Short-term, Obama has hurt his party, but Long-term he could leave it in great shape, especially if he gives millions of illegals legal standing in the USA so they can vote, and if more people get addicted to Obamacare. Obama is thinking Long-term.

Current demographics say no unless a crap load of republican voters move out of California, Illinois, New York (Heck the whole upper Northeast), Michigan, as well as Pennsylvania and into battleground States. Florida, its possibly trending Blue (2012 disappointed me with that State), even if the weak candidate with the tan loses, but still a toss-up unless Cackles runs. The Lesbo is mighty popular with South FL/I-4 crowd.
